Fairfield

Marriott Hotels asked us to help design and build the booths for Connect. Not only that, but we needed to build the trade show booth for their family of hotels, which includes:

  • Marriott

  • Courtyard

  • Four Points

  • Residence Inn

  • Springhill Suites

  • Towneplace Suites

  • Fairfield

Challenge

same, but different

Marriott challenged us to create booths that highlighted each hotel chain on its own, but have a cohesive theme to all of them. This required us to think through which design elements would be unique to each brand, and what we could incorporate to the booths that would tie them all together.

Solution

Stand out

We made sure Fairfield's island booth was consistent with the design elements for their hotels. This made it feel like you were walking in to one of their hotels.

We started by placing 2 barn wood frames with double sided light boxes to catch the attention of showgoers, and drive traffic toward the booth. We raised the floor with inset ceramic tiles making sure that the booth felt separated from the rest of the show floor upon entry.

We also incorporated back wall SEG graphics, as well as 14" 3D signage that could be seen from far away.

We then placed a custom wood bar table with U-shaped marble tabs. The color of the wood and marble tied everything together, and met their need for a warm and inviting meeting space.

tie it together

To tie Fairfield's booth together with the other Marriott brands, we incorporated a large branded tower on all the Marriott brand booths. These towers included SEG fabric graphics, and a large logo light box.
