To share the experience of Shell's brand heritage at Licensing Expo 2019, we delivered this 20x40 Island booth. That's right, a full-sized replica of a 1960s gas station!
Challenge:
TSBA Group was tasked by their client, Shell, to supply a retro exhibit that highlights their many successful years in business.
Solution:
To focus on the vintage look Shell desired, we came up with a classic gas station design that incorporates the brand colors—red and yellow.
We highlighted the display with red and yellow strips and large window panels. The ceiling structure was comprised of aluminum frames, which provided us the stability to create the pitched ceiling while keeping the weight at a minimum. The use of large custom wood columns permitted us to hang the ceiling and wall panels securely without the need for rigging. Our CNC effortlessly cut out the 1955 Shell logo to create the backlit pieces.
